The Intentional Life
scatterthoughts: What did you mean in your unpopular opinion?

What I meant in my ^unpopular opinion^ (although it was more of a couple of commonly misinterpreted facts) was that Jesus and his disciples were in actuality middle eastern men in their teens and early twenties.

The best guess of what we can imagine Jesus and his disciples to look like would be something like THIS, despite hundreds of years of depictions that caricatured Jesus into a causation male, which resembled the artists more than the iconic religious figure they were painting.

As for their ages, the same thing goes. Most paintings of Jesus and the disciples have depicted them as old white haired bearded men, but the reality is that they could not be any older than 19 years each (with the exception of Jesus and Peter).
